Experience Rock City's Enchanted Garden of Lights

Experience Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights

hosted-post

My family and I spent the week in Chattanooga for Christmas and Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights was definitely something we wanted to experience. Christmas time is my favorite time of the year. My family has the tradition ever year to drive around town admiring all the Christmas lights.  Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights exceeded our expectations!  As a child, I had been to Lookout Mountain many times and wanted my family to experience it, but The Enchanted Garden of Lights was a welcomed bonus. Something I had never seen. To say it was simply beautiful is an understatement.

From Magic Forest to Arctic Kingdom to Yule Town to North Pole Village and the Blooming Pansies we were in awe. This a long, running holiday tradition of twenty plus years and I definitely plan on adding it to our holiday traditions.

The Magic Forest was my personal favorite. I just loved how they illuminated the forest. I felt like I was in a magical maze of lights and this was a magical trail that led to different hearts of the experience. My pictures do not describe the beauty well enough. You’ll have to see it for yourself.

Along the path, you may even run into Jack Frost and Inara the ice queen.

The North Pole Village is located along the North Pole Highway and leads to the North Pole Lodge also known as the Rock City’s Pavilion in regular season. This village hosts a lot of holiday fun such as choirs, bands and ensembles. In this amazement you can have all types of drinks and fellowship with other visitors.

Although we did not get to experience this, you can even have dinner with Santa. This would include a dinner buffet with all the goods including chicken fingers, VIP front-of-the-line access to the Enchanted Garden of Lights, meet and greet with Santa and the elves and a photo opp with Santa and friends.

Again, it was very tranquil and we loved every moment of it. Although it was a bit chilly the evening we drove up, nothing some scarfs, mittens and hot chocolate could not take care of. The mountain air was still refreshing and views were breathtaking. It was so pretty lit up at night. Prettier than I could have ever imagined. Rock City is Lookout Mountain with all the glory.  There is so much to do that we were unable to take it all in however I am looking forward to experiencing it during the day and taking in Rock City Garden, Lovers Leap & Cafe, Rock City Birdhouses, Mother Goose Village to name a few.

The next time you are in Chattanooga, make sure to include Rock City on your places to visit, or Enchanted Garden of Lights during Christmas.
