You will first start out by preheating the oven to 450 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, for your biscuits.

In a small bowl add flour and butter.

Using a pastry blender, cut in the butter until it’s blended well. Pour in milk and stir well.

Drop dough onto a floured surface and knead 5-6 times until no longer sticky. Press into a 1/2″ rectangle and cut with a 2.5″ biscuit cutter.

Place biscuits on prepared baking sheet and bake for 7-10 minutes or until brown.

After the biscuits are baked, use the Instant Pot to create the gravy.

Turn the instant pot on to sautee and add your sausage. Cook until browned.  After your sausage is sautéed, add the remaining ingredients. You will add salt and pepper for taste and mix well to season sausage. Pour in milk and sprinkle flour on mixture. Make sure to mix well. Place the lid on the instant pot and seal. Close the vent.

Set to low pressure for two minutes. When done, release the pressure and stir gravy. Serve with biscuits sliced in half.
