Easy Cast Iron Skillet Meatballs and Mushroom Sauce

You simply cannot make the most amazing southern dishes without a nice, sturdy cast iron skillet. Besides the sauce, I do believe that the skillet is what makes this dish so amazing.
The first thing you will need to do is drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a cast iron skillet or dutch oven. Then saute white onions and garlic until onions are translucent. Next you will add the meatballs and mushrooms
This is where the delicious part comes in. You will need to pour two packages of Seeds of Change Mushroom Simmer Sauce. Simmer on low for 10-15 minutes until meatballs are warmed throughout.

Cast Iron Skillet Meatballs

Don’t forget to make egg noodles according to package directions. Then finally, spoon meatballs and sauce over egg noodles, sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Ingredients

  • 1lb frozen meatballs thawed
  • 1 medium white onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 8oz white mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 packages Seeds of Change Mushroom simmer sauce
  • 1 package egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Parsley optional

Instructions

  1. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a cast iron skillet or dutch oven.
  2. Saute white onion and garlic until onions are translucent.
  3. Add meatballs.
  4. Add mushrooms.
  5. Top with 2 packages of Seeds of Change Mushroom Simmer Sauce.
  6. Simmer on low for 10-15 minutes until meatballs are warmed throughout.
  7. Make egg noodles according to package directions.
  8. Spoon meatballs and sauce over egg noodles, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
