Easy Instant Pot Biscuits & Gravy
Save time and create this classic homemade Southern Style Instant Pot Biscuits with Homemade Gravy. A hearty breakfast for a cold Winter morning.

Ingredients

self rising flour
1/3
cup
buttermilk

tsp
butter

sausage

milk

flour
1/2

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl add flour and butter. Using a pastry blender, cut in the butter until it's blended well.
Pour in milk and stir well.
Drop dough onto a floured surface and knead 5-6 times until no longer sticky. Press into a 1/2" rectangle.
Cut with a 2.5" biscuit cutter and place biscuits on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 7-10 minutes or until brown. Set aside.
After the biscuits are baked, use the Instant Pot to create the gravy.
Turn the instant pot on to sautee and add your sausage. Cook until browned. Then add salt and pepper and mix well to season sausage.
Pour in milk and sprinkle flour on mixture. Mix well.
Place the lid on the instant pot and seal. Close the vent.
Set to manual, low pressure for 2 minutes.
When done, release the pressure and stir gravy. Serve with biscuits sliced in half.

This recipe can easily be doubled.
